SRO UPDATED INFO:
We have had several questions regarding the new School Resource Officers for the district and wanted to share updates with all potential applicants.
The Lincoln County School District Police Department will be registered with the state as its own department. We will continue to work with and partner with our local law enforcement agency.
*Beginning full-time salary $38,000 (increased based on experience)
*197 day contract paid over 12 months (This would allow you to work with another agency or job.)
*Sick and Personal days to use or can be "banked" for retirement.
*State benefits - Retirement, health insurance, etc.
*SROs will have ballgame duties but will NOT be required to attend ALL athletic events.
There is the possibility of having 2 part-time SROs cover a campus if we can maintain full-time coverage.
