The Lincoln County District is hiring s (SRO) for our s s. Duties include safety planning, enforcement, and mentoring. s shall be screened for professionalism and their ability to interact with students. The SRO is not merely an armed security guard.

The Mississippi Department of Education requirements for an SRO are as follows:
- At least 24 years old.
- At least 3 years of full-time law enforcement experience prior to SRO assignment.
- Completion of the MDE - SRO - Basic Course within two years of appointment OR the National Association of SRO (NASRO) Basic Training plus eight hours of MDE state specific content training.
- Clear background check.
- Clear drug test.
