The Lincoln County School District is seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Bus Mechanic & Substitute Driver to join our Transportation Department. This dual-role position is responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure safe and efficient operation, as well as serving as a substitute bus driver when needed.

Qualifications:

• 21 years old
• Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement or be willing to obtain it

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on school buses and district vehicles
• Ensure shop cleanliness and adherence to safety standards
• Serve as a Sub Driver for all four Lincoln County Schools
• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and work under vehicles for extended periods
• Other duties as needed/assigned
