Terms of Employment:
231 Day At-Will Hourly Full-Time Position; Salary based on district pay scale and experience. State benefits including health insurance, retirement, etc.

Ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefit programs, insurance enrollment, and payroll-related deductions while providing excellent support to staff and maintaining compliance with district policies.

- Knowledge of payroll laws, insurance policies, and benefit administration.
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use accounting and payroll software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under time constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefit programs offered by the district.
- Act as liaison between employees and insurance providers regarding coverage, claims, and changes.
- Coordinate insurance enrollment activities and assist new hires with benefit explanations and forms.
- Maintain and distribute forms, plan documents, and related materials.
- Enter benefit and deduction data into payroll systems and maintain supporting documentation.
- Reconcile monthly insurance billings with payroll reports; resolve discrepancies and process premium payments.
- Process weekly time and leave records; reconcile teacher leave with substitute invoices.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding deductions, benefits, and leave.
- Assist with payroll data entry and other business office clerical tasks.
- Provide information for audits and recommend improvements to payroll and benefits processes.
- Demonstrate punctuality and professionalism in all interactions.
- All other duties as assigned.
