Courage – Fulfilling my responsibilities in spite of being afraid.

Health Tip of the Week:  Get a Good Night’s Sleep – Two of the biggest barriers to a good night’s sleep is too much caffeine and screen (TV, Computer, Cellphone) time in the evening hours.  We know how important sleep is to help out bodies function correctly, so cut out the soda and turn off the electronics before bed.

SPORTS:

·        Tuesday, May 14 – TENNIS State Tournament – Ridgeland Tennis Center

CONGRATULATIONS:

• Congratulations to the Baseball Team and Coaches on a great season!
• Congratulations to Mrs. Reynaud’s Class on being the Box Tops winning class for this nine weeks.  They will be rewarded with a pizza party.

SOFTBALL:  Tryouts are TODAY and TOMORROW after school.  You MUST have sign-up with Coach Redd and you MUST have a physical and eligibility packet on file.

CROSS COUNTRY: Tryouts will be Thursday, May 16 at 3:15 p.m. in front of the gym. You must have a physical to tryout.  The sign-up sheet for high school is on Mr. Case’s door and the sign-up sheet for junior high is by Coach Allen’s door.

CAFETERIA: If your class will not be eating in the cafeteria between now and the end of the school year, please let Mrs. Amy Charboneau know ASAP.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

• ACT – Saturday, June 8
• Athletic Physicals – May 9, 13 & 15 – Thursday, May 9, ^7th graders, ^6th grade boys & ^8th grade boys need to bring their $10.00 and their eligibility packet.
• Awards Day – Monday, May 20 – Elementary at 8:30 a.m. – Grades 7-12 at 1:00 p.m.
• Athletic Banquet – Monday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.

SOPHOMORES: T-Shirts for next year’s Junior Class will be on sale from now until the end of school.  Place your order at the high school office with Mrs. Monica.  The cost is $20.00.
