Health Tip of the Week: - Eat your fruits and vegetables!! Eating fresh fruits and vegetable with each meal and between meals is the right choice! Stay away from sweets and fast/processed foods that are high in fat and low in fiber.

LCSD SUPERINTENDENT: There will be a meeting for parents, business, and community stakeholders on August 15, 2019 at 6:00 at the Lincoln Civic Center. The purpose of the meeting is to seek input on the qualifications and characteristics that Lincoln County Schools' first appointed superintendent should possess. For those unable to attend, an online stakeholder survey will also be available at msbaonline.org. This is a very important decision for our district. Your input is appreciated.
PIZZA SALES: Academic team will be selling pizza for $2 and drinks for $1 Thursday, August 20, at 1st break for junior high and high school students.
SCHOOL PICTURES: Will be taken on Tuesday, August 20, for grades K-5, Mrs. Gregory’s class and Mrs. Vicky Smith’s class. On Wednesday, August 21, grades 6-11 will take their pictures. We will have the proof system again this year. William Buckley Photography will make the pictures. Please allow 2 -4 weeks for the proofs to come in.
FFA: Any 7th – 12th grader who has already signed up for FFA or is interested in signing up for FFA needs to meet in Mrs. Myers’ room TODAY during 1st break.
ACT: We will not be giving ACT at WL in September; however, any students interested in taking ACT elsewhere in Sept. need to register online by August 16. The next ACT to be given at West Lincoln will be Oct. 26. Deadline to register is Sept. 20.
GRIDIRON GIRLS: If you are interested in being a Gridiron Girl, please sign up on Mrs. Sterling's door by Thursday. Gridiron Girls will work various jobs to support the football teams and earn community service while doing so! If you have any questions, see Mrs. Sterling.
CROWN CLUB: 10th or 11th grade girls interested in the Junior Auxiliary Crown Club can pick up an application at Mrs. Monica’s office. You must have a GPA of 2.75 and pay $30 in annual dues. Deadline is AUG 15.
