Clark Twins Capture State Tennis Championship

MHSAAWEST LINCOLN – With the help of Katy Clark and Kara Clark, West Lincoln Attendance Center recently claimed the first state tennis championship in the school’s history. The ninth grade twin sisters returned to the final round this year, but this time capturing the gold medal in 2A girls doubles (See last year’s article). This was the first year for West Lincoln to compete in 2A sports. All 2A final games were played at Bridges Tennis Center in Jackson, MS. Superintendent Terry Brister and the Lincoln County School Board congratulates Katy and Kara Clark, as well as tennis coach Karen Dunaway. The Clark sisters are looking forward to next year’s tennis season.
